Two-way traffic control with automatic gate closing. By triggering a contact, the opening process of the gate is initiated and the red traffic lights are illuminated until the gate is fully open. Then the traffic lights are switched to green for one direction, allowing passage from that direction. After a time phase has elapsed, the traffic lights switch back to red and after a short delay time the gate begins to close. During the entire process, the traffic light of the opposite direction is switched to red. The lane is thus blocked. When the gate is closed, the traffic lights go out. All time intervals are programmable.
